Welcome to MushroomOps ("we," "our," or "us"). We provide farm management software designed to track compost phases, environmental metrics, harvest operations, and workforce activity. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the MushroomOps mobile application and the web dashboard hosted at mushroomops.com.

By accessing or using MushroomOps, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1 Information We Collect

Because MushroomOps is a business-to-business (B2B) enterprise tool, we primarily collect data related to farm operations rather than personal consumer data.

Account & Profile Information

When a Farm Admin creates an account or provisions access for workers, we collect basic login credentials, including names, email addresses, assigned roles, and company association necessary to secure the account and provide role-based access.

Operational & Farm Data

We collect data entered into the app regarding farm operations. This includes:

Category Data Collected
Daily Logs Compost temperature, air temperature, bed temperature, humidity, CO₂ levels, pH, EC/TDS readings, water quantities, medicine & additive usage, notes
Harvest Records Worker name, harvest date, mushroom grade, container count, harvest weight
Quality Inspections Visual scores (whiteness, redness, blotch), cap/stem measurements, piece weight, inspection photographs
Disease Tracking Issue type, severity level, treatment applied, resolution status, photographs
Dispatch & Inventory Dispatch date/time, destination, vehicle number, total weight, stock counts, transaction reasons
Lot & Phase Tracking Lot numbers, base material, dry weight, compost phase progression, facility movements

Device Permissions (Camera & Photo Library)

The MushroomOps mobile application may request access to your device's camera and photo library strictly for operational features such as capturing photographs for quality inspections, disease tracking, and daily log evidence. We do not access your camera or photo library without your explicit, real-time initiation. Images are stored securely in our cloud storage associated with your organization.

Audit & Attribution Data

To maintain accountability, the app records which authenticated user created, modified, or resolved specific records. This is limited to the user ID and timestamp associated with each action.

Information We Do NOT Collect

2 How We Store Your Data

We utilize a modern, offline-first architecture to ensure the app functions reliably in environments with poor or no internet connectivity.

Local Storage

Data entered while offline is temporarily stored locally on your specific device using secure application storage. Once an internet connection is established, this data is securely synced to our servers. Authentication session tokens are also cached locally to enable seamless app access.

Cloud Hosting

All synced operational and account data is hosted securely on managed cloud infrastructure with industry-standard security controls. Uploaded images (inspection photos, disease evidence) are stored in secure, access-controlled cloud storage buckets scoped to your organization.

Data Retention

We retain your operational data for as long as your organization's account is active. Farm Admins may request data export or deletion by contacting us directly.

3 How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly to provide and improve the MushroomOps service. Specifically, we use it to:
